Reporting offshore incidents in accordance with the common EU reporting format

Operators or owners of offshore installations must notify the Danish Working Environment Authority of incidents and associated information in accordance with the common reporting format set out in the EU Commission Implementing Regulation:

The information must be submitted within 10 working days of the incident, in accordance with Article 2 (1) of the Implementing Regulation. 1. Reference is also made to section 6 of the Executive Order on notification of accidents etc.

This notification does not relieve operators or owners of the obligation to immediately report major accidents and incidents with potential for this to either the South Jutland Police or the Danish Working Environment Authority, cf. above.
