Follow-up on reported accidents, injuries and near misses
The Danish Working Environment Authority reviews and assesses all reported accidents, injuries and near misses and determines whether immediate measures should be taken. All reported accidents and near-misses will be reviewed offshore in connection with the next inspection.
The Danish Working Environment Authority usually inspects the site of serious accidents that resulted in fatalities or serious personal injury immediately after receiving the notification. These inspections are often carried out with the police.
The Danish Working Environment Authority prepares annual statistics on offshore industrial injuries and near misses. The statistics and the individual reports are included in the Danish Working Environment Authority's priority of supervision.
